Insect light trap specially designed for places endangered by explosion. The device can be used in zones endangered by explosion of dust: 21 and 22 (according to IEC 6124-3 norm) and in zones endangered by explosion of gases: 1 and 2 (according to 60079-10 norm).
It is particularly intended for food industry: distilleries, mills and plants producing groats, sugar factories, powder milk factories as well as pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry.
Device consists of a lighting module, which task is to attract insects thanks to combination of UVA and green colour lamps, and of a stainless steel cover.
Specially designed shape of the cover helps to attract insects due to using reflections of light on the surface of sticky insert placed under the cover.
While operating the device you need:
Change fluorescent lamps annually
Change glueboards4-6 times/season
Change gaskets and cover of light frame every three years
Device has code II 2GD EEx em II T4 and complies with new European harmonised norms ATEX 95.
All lamps are provided with a special anti-fragmentation foil protecting against glass chips.
